Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 October 2026

1. Agreement

These terms govern access to and use of RIFT, a product of Almena. By using RIFT you accept them on behalf of yourself and any organisation you represent.

2. What RIFT provides

RIFT connects site feasibility, grid access, connectivity, energy scenarios and project economics into a single planning workflow for early-stage data center assessment. RIFT is not a live monitoring platform, an engineering consultancy or a grid operator, and it does not secure grid capacity.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit and for keeping your credentials confidential. You must not share access outside your organisation.

4. Acceptable use

Do not reverse engineer, resell or attempt to extract the underlying models or data, and do not use RIFT to breach law or third-party rights.

5. Nature of results

RIFT results are analytical decision support based on public sources and the assumptions you provide. They do not constitute engineering, investment, legal, tax, regulatory or grid-connection advice, do not guarantee bankability or compliance, and must be validated before capital commitment.

6. Intellectual property

Almena retains all rights in RIFT, including its methodology, models and interfaces. You retain rights in the project information you submit.

7. Fees

Paid plans, if any, are billed as described at the time of purchase. Fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

8. Availability

We aim for continuous availability but may perform maintenance or change features. RIFT is provided without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Almena is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or decisions made in reliance on RIFT outputs.

10. Term and termination

Either party may terminate at any time. Provisions on intellectual property, liability and governing law survive termination.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Málaga, Spain, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through the Almena contact form at https://almena.energy/book-demo.
